After many years in Marbella, in 2019, I, Mark FR Wilkins, began Consulting to Marbella-based bi-lingual and multi-disciplinary law firm, ROS Abogados and Asesores Fiscales.

The transactional legal work is undertaken by my Abogado colleagues. From my years in legal practice, I provide a voice of calm familiarity to English speakers – wherever they are from – aimed at minimizing any culture shock that may be experienced when buying a property in the Marbella region.

Our law firm was launched, several years ago, and my colleagues came from one of Marbella’s best known practices. The senior partners, who I have known for twenty years, are highly experience-qualified and bi-lingual resulting from many years of representing English-speaking clients. They have an excellent reputation and are proven to provide dedicated and holistic services that range from NIE applications, to the handling of property purchases with quiet efficiency to dealing with utility connections including water, electricity etc.

Our firm is a full service law firm that covers many areas of law in addition to property transactions. We also have an Accountancy Division that deals with tax, company and related issues that many clients find very convenient.

I ceased to practice as an English Solicitor in late 2019, when I joined ROS. My role, at no additional cost to our clients, is to assist and to remain on hand to our clients throughout the purchase process and beyond.

This is my personal blog and is entirely independent of the law firm I consult to. It’s intended as a resource delivering practical reality and sagely intelligence gleaned over many years in the Marbella property market.
